You need more than just a driver for 8514A cards - a set of low-level
video routines is also needed in the graphics library as the SVGA-style
video RAM access will not work on 8514A cards.

The good news: I already have these routines and an appropriate driver.
It was tested on a Gateway 486/33 with an ATI Ultra board. These 
additions will be in the next release of my graphics library (cbgrx102).

The bad news: It will not be uploaded before early August as I am working
away from my regular office right now. (in fact I am typing in this mail
message on a modem.)
