Just a quick note, that I have pulled the djgpp files across the
big pond and they are now also available here at ftp.uni-koeln.de
in msdos/gnuprogs/djgpp.
European Internet users with ftp access might find it easier to
use our archive here than the original distribution site in the States.
It took my system a whole day to transfer the files!!!!
But please use our archive preferably during night time and on weekends,
the archive machine is not a dedicated ftp server, but our central
mainframe. It is used for *real* work (whatever this is :-) during
daytime and we have an access limit of 6 outside users then.
Also the infamous german WiN will not be so overcrowded over night.
And.., to anticipate one coming question: No, we don't have a
mail server here and I'm not prepared to mail 5 megabytes of stuff
individually, sorry. So, if you don't have FTP possibilities, you
could use the mail server at DJ's site or wait for someone else
in the neigbourhood to announce one.
