I am currently re-compiling dvi2vga using djgpp and I was expecting at least
a NOTICABLE increase in speed, but it turns out that the newly compiled version
is SLOW:

is SLOWLY than the 16-bit version.  I just can
't figure out why!  

Does any of the experts out there has a clue!
