Forget about that patch.  It seems to fix my problem, but it does not
do what I thought it did, so I need to investigate more.  If anyone
on this list knows how to inherit signal handler settings across
spawnve(), please save me some time pouring through the guts of
spawn/fork/exec and let me know...
