I just tried with a completing different Win2K machine with fairly
recent CVS but with Rob's latest thread.* and I was able to reproduce
the problem.  Note that this machine is SP2 while the other one is
SP1, but both happen to be a PIII 500 MHz (although one is a slowish
notebook while the other is a much faster server).  For some reason,
my machines tickle this problem.  I'm at a loss as to why no one else
(including you) has observed the same results.
