Also, I want these files to be easy to update, informal, and close to
the sources.  That's why I didn't create a 'txt' directory or something.

I want them to jump out when I do a 'ls' so that I'm liable to think
"Oh yeah, I should update that."

This just happened for cygheap, in fact.
