IMO, anything that core dumps or results in 100% cpu utilization is a
show stopper.

That shouldn't be the cause of this but you never know.

Can't you attach to a looping process?

This wasn't under rxvt was it?

Sorry, I am doing about four things at once.  My email was unnecessarily
curt -- especially when you said that you were going to debug this.

I guess I need another vacation...
