Subject: problem with build from top-level
Mime-Version: 1.0

Hi!

line 1262 in top-level configure.in reads

FLAGS_FOR_TARGET=$FLAGS_FOR_TARGET' -B$$r/$(TARGET_SUBDIR)/newlib/ -isystem $$r/$(TARGET_SUBDIR)/newlib/targ-include -isystem $$s/newlib/libc/include'

when make goes to target subdir of build tree, gcc is called with option
-B/path/to/my/build/root/i586-pc-cygwin/newlib/

my gcc (gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release-2)) warns that this
search prefix was never used, and this breaks configure process in
i586-pc-cygwin/*/

is something wrong with my build environment or -B$$r/$(TARGET_SUBDIR)/newlib/
should be changed to -L$$r/$(TARGET_SUBDIR)/newlib/ ?
