I can't reproduce that here. I have a new version of login
which uses all new features of the recent snapshot but I
have just tried it with the net release version. It works.

Are you using ntsec? If so, try 

	chmod +x /your/path/to/cygwin1.dll
or
	chmod +x /your/path/to/bash.exe

The above message is mostly related to the security settings
of the executable files (eg. executable bit isn't set in the ACL).
