Any UNIXish pathname could unfortunately exist in somebodies
environment (e.g. /mnt, which is typically used as temporary
mount point) and the usage of any path-like solution equals
the usage of mount points.

So, why not the mount requirement?

Documentation will help the folks while installation and they
will ask questions about this in any case!
