Hi,

Should I apply this patch to bash 2.02 and see how things go? Have
you gotten any feedback from people on the gnu-win32 mailing list?

I've worked with the bash maintainer Chet Ramey in the past to get
changes included in the official version and he was quite responsive
to my Cygwin32 support changes. If people like your changes, it would
probably be best for you to contact him to get them added to the bash
mainline sources.

Regards,
