[This might be of interest to cygwin developers, so I'm posting it 
here as well. Apologies if not appropriate for this list.]

I've just posted a note to gnu-win32 list announcing a "dll helper"
package with examples on creating DLLs in C, C++ and f77. The helper
program is a wrapper around dlltool and ld and basically alleviates
some of the ugliness that's there right now.

There's also some mods to dlltool to create export definition from
a set of object/archive files (--export-all option).
