When we allow inetd or cygrunsrv as a service to interact with the desktop, the console window pops up and remains on the desktop until the service terminates. I feel it is annoying. Moreover, when we execute inetd as a normal application, the console window remains until the inetd terminates. Both my daemon patch and the run utility by Charles Wilson can't prevent it. ____ | AIST Kazuhiro Fujieda <fujieda AT jaist DOT ac DOT jp> | HOKURIKU Center for Information Science o_/ 1990 Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology
