Subject: | Archiving DOS/Win32 filsystem flags (system/hidden/...) with tar |
Hi all, star-1.4a05 is out and includes the first free POSIX.1-200x compliant implementation of extended tar headers. These tar headers would make it very easy to add support for non-POSIX filesystem file-flags. The last time I checked, there was no function that sets or retrieves these flags usinf POSIX names. Is this still correct? If not, would it be possible to get such a function for star?
