Subject: | Threading changes of Apr 22 |
It appears there's something of a bug in Robert's recently committed threading code. While building a snapshot from current CVS, I got the following error: /cygwin -L/usr/src/cygwin/obj/i686-pc-cygwin/winsup/w32api/lib -isystem /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/include -isystem /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/include -isystem /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/w32api/include -isystem /usr/src/cygwin/src/newlib/libc/sys/cygwin -isystem /usr/src/cygwin/src/newlib/libc/sys/cygwin32 -B/usr/src/cygwin/obj/i686-pc-cygwin/newlib/ -isystem /usr/src/cygwin/obj/i686-pc-cygwin/newlib/targ-include -isystem /usr/src/cygwin/src/newlib/libc/include -c -nostdinc++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -O2 -Wall -Wwrite-strings -I. -I/usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/include -I/usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin -I/usr/src/cygwin/src/newlib/libc/sys/cygwin -I/usr/src/cygwin/src/newlib/libc/include -I/usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/w32api/include -I/usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/config/i386 -I/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2.95.3-3//include -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions -o ./thread.o /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/thread.cc /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/thread.cc: In method `void MTinterface::Init(int)': /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/thread.cc:301: `shm_head' undeclared (first use this function) /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/thread.cc:301: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once /usr/src/cygwin/src/winsup/cygwin/thread.cc:301: for each function it appears in.) make[2]: *** [thread.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/cygwin/obj/i686-pc-cygwin/winsup/cygwin' make[1]: *** [install_cygwin] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/cygwin/obj/i686-pc-cygwin/winsup' make: *** [install-target-winsup] Error 2 Did somebody jump the gun on IPC support? :-) --Chuck
