Not according to cygcheck. I tried using the strace program that you created
and it works fine when running under strace. No errors from either sh or bash.
I am running as a normal domain user with the snapshot installed locally. I'm
running on NT4 sp3; NTFS; CYGWIN=notty, binmode, notitle. I'll try running
locally with admin privs. but that won't be until sometime next week.
BTW, Could you please only respond to the list. I don't need two copies.
