Add a CYGWIN variable option called [no]mount that will ignore the cygwin mount table and use the full Win32 paths always if set to nomount. Paths would then map to D:/some/directory and if the drive letter isn't specified then the current drive would be used just as in DOS/WIN32. The advantage to this would be that the cooperation between cygwin and non-cygwin binaries could be achieved more smoothly. === "Earnie Boyd" <mailto:earnie_boyd AT yahoo DOT com> CYGWIN RELATED HELP: DOCUMENTATION: <http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cygwin/docs.html> DLLHELP: <http://www.xraylith.wisc.edu/~khan/software/gnu-win32/> ARCHIVE SEARCH: <http://www.delorie.com/archives/> OR <http://www.eGroups.com/list/gnu-win32/> _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
