I had installed latest version of Cygwin and trying to start rsync in daemon
mode, but whatever option I tried, I am getting same error. See below.
Have you tried running rsync 2.4.6 daemon in 1.3.5 ver ? If yes, do you know
of any issue ?
I saw couple of discussion in mailing list but those talking about earlier
version, including someone who got the patch for rsync 2.4.2 version.
$ cygrunsrv -I "rsyncd" -p /usr/bin/rsync -a '--config=/etc/rsyncd.conf
--daemon' -e CYGWIN="tty ntsec binmode"
Error --
$ cygrunsrv --start rsyncd
cygrunsrv: Error starting a service: QueryServiceStatus: Win32 error 1062:
The service has not been started.
