Squid 2.4 dev 4 has a CVS branch for cygwin that will compile and run the core options without modifications. this can be retrieved via squid.sourceforge.net you will need to autoconf autoheader ./configure before making. If anyone tries this and has problems please contact me, either via this list or direct - Rob ps for anyone that doesn't know squid is a www proxy cache.
