cygcurl-2.dll is created using libtool along with various autotools, and for distribution I perform a `make install-strip` followed by: $(STRIP) $(cygwintmp)/usr/bin/cygcurl-?.dll In the Makefile, STRIP = strip Given that I don't know anything about rebasing I have no idea if this is the kind of info you're looking for.
