Subject: New ash in latest

I have uploaded a new version of ash to
sourceware.cygnus.com. You will find it in
latest/ash, called

	ash-20000517.tar.gz
	ash-20000517-src.tar.gz

If you are updating from a previous installation
that you had set up using `setup.exe', you can
update `ash' by typing

	setup -u ash

Description:
============

This version should solve a long standing problem
when reading shell scripts with DOS line endings
from binary mounted directories.

This is done by switching to Textmode when reading
the script file, regardless of the underlying mount
point mode. The same is done when reading from stdin
so it's possible to read scripts with DOS line endings
from stdin as well.
