Btw, the next thing I did, was mounting e:/cygwin2 on /usr/xlocal
and creating /usr/xlocal/{bin,etc,lib} (while using e:/Cygwin) :

@@ PATH=/usr/xlocal/bin:$PATH which --version
@@ echo $?
127

@@ PATH=/usr/xlocal/bin:$PATH strace which --version | grep Carlo
GNU which v2.23, Copyright (C) 1999 - 2025 Carlo Wood.

Sort of "A mingw executable (strace) helping a Cygwin executable
(which) finding its libraries :-)
