Last I've heard, setup.exe recognize CYWIN=winsymlinks:native[strict] option.

I definitely do NOT want such "helpful" mechanic. I specifically want certain
programs to be linked into $PATH without a recognizable extension, so they would
only be picked by cygwin tools.
