Are you sure you are running *Cygwin* rsync - test with `which rsync`, and it is
best to copy and past the command lines and outputs directly, for example:
$ uname -srvmo

*NOTE:* current Cygwin *rsync* version has *6 CVEs* against it, and current
Cygwin *git* version has *2 CVEs* against it, so they need updated soon before
being used outside firewalls!
