Subject: running sshd as service fails to temporarily_use_uid
MIME-Version: 1.0
X-IsSubscribed: yes

if i run sshd manually, i'm able to ssh to the server. if i run sshd as a
service, i get the following fatal error:

Jul 9 15:43:44 XXXXXXX sshd: PID 48511: debug1: temporarily_use_uid:
1169717/1049089 (e=197615/197121)
Jul 9 15:43:44 XXXXXXX sshd: PID 48511: fatal: seteuid 1169717: No such
device or address

the uid's 1169717/1049089 are valid uid's. any idea why this isn't working?

any help would be appreciated.
