The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

* libsnappy1-1.1.7-1
* libsnappy-devel-1.1.7-1

Snappy is a compression/decompression library. It does not aim for maximum 
compression, or compatibility with any other compression library, instead, 
it aims for very high speeds and reasonable compression.

This package has been added as a new dependency of MySQL/MariaDB.
