Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] pkgconf 1.6.0-1
Sender: qmail alias <cygwin AT server4 DOT sourceware DOT org>

The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

* pkgconf-1.6.0-1
* libpkgconf3-1.6.0-1
* libpkgconf-devel-1.6.0-1
* pkg-config-1.6.0-1

pkgconf is a program which helps to configure compiler and linker flags
for development frameworks. It is an alternative and replacement to
pkg-config.

With this release, we follow the lead of other distros which have
switched to this implementation. The pkg-config command is replaced by
a symlink to pkgconf, and the various $TARGET-pkg-config commands
replaced by scripts. Cross-compiling "personality" files are included
for *-w64-mingw32.
