no - there's no new font requirements.  xterm has (for a long time)
provided a way to infer what bold font would correspond to the normal
fonts if there's no bold-font resource setting.  One of the changes
in #328 omitted a step in that process, making it fail to see that
a bold font was specified.  The warnings have been there for a few
years.  You simply got extra warnings due to the bug.

As far as I know, #330 fixes that issue.

Some packagers don't think so.

The ones that are used by default are the xorg "misc" fonts (though I don't
recall what the package name in cygwin is -- package names for X fonts diff=
er
in every system that I've seen).
