Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] botan1.10 1.10.16-1
X-IsSubscribed: yes

The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

* libbotan1.10_1-1.10.16-1
* libbotan1.10-devel-1.10.16-1
* libbotan1.10-doc-1.10.16-1
* python2-botan-1.10.16-1
* python3-botan-1.10.16-1
* mingw64-i686-botan1.10-1.10.16-1
* mingw64-x86_64-botan1.10-1.10.16-1

Botan is a crypto library for C++ released under the permissive 2-clause
BSD license. It provides most any cryptographic algorithm you might be
looking for, along with Transport Layer Security (TLS), X.509 certs, CRLs,
and path validation, a pipeline-style message processing system, bcrypt
password hashing, and other useful things.

This is an update to the latest 1.10 release, which includes fixes for
CVE-2016-9132 and CVE-2017-2801. Bindings for both Python 2 and 3 are now
included, built with Boost.Python 1.63.
