(While I try to keep up with Cygwin email, I also get hundreds of other mails per day, and when Cygwin is limited to my free time, sometimes things slip through the cracks). In life, and therefore in open source, it is often that the squeaky wheel gets the grease; if something isn't getting the attention you think it deserves, it is not bad to ping the thread to bring it back to the forefront. Thanks for the ping. I've now replied to that thread to ask upstream bash for help in deciphering if Chet, who wrote the code, might be aware of why it is breaking things. That said, I still hope to get a closer look at it myself when I have a nice chunk of time; but the trick is still getting that nice chunk of time. --=20 Eric Blake, Principal Software Engineer Red Hat, Inc. +1-919-301-3266 Virtualization: qemu.org | libvirt.org --IlFLi58dI9VD2lKiae0KsfjspXeqEcuFN-- --PidFRcILEW8euBJiBeu31Rcf0H8uJiX3j Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 Comment: Public key at http://people.redhat.com/eblake/eblake.gpg Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJZGfGyAAoJEKeha0olJ0NqUqoH/Ra8nWEWzS8k33meKW7B6/Sz Ud2hP4oPFWS3Q6OWjFILs97AiESSWwvuxYRVLvGstVtBJc9gNyTvDuXVaQrqM99I My1V9X8oZJ5VEzaI5C+JRxJzMbzry4R9SnXhZ7V0eY8jT7xXRvw1v5aDLNcfQAow 3x8bKRnuBHQ2NcdbARu6v1P8QE5m6u2ga+jjYVKK4CYvnuXwEcvAV88if4qrgi74 6Bo+WrNvJjfq6JVjh5hvAHT5+NTtIUeajt9DKj0UUMmorG0iJYianV599hNL8KLX VdK4h27CwWkFxunhxH/Nn50bzNuBLjv64VyBEa/U4JQiRMte8SsEzffXuj9+iLg= =xqgs -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --PidFRcILEW8euBJiBeu31Rcf0H8uJiX3j--
