As each also has its own hardware drivers, I suspect it would be harder getting it to work in Wine than writing fresh. They are currenty in VMware Player because they do not work correctly in VirtualBox either. (I wanted the VM to be open source as well, but no such luck). If anyone has suggestions on other open source virtual environments, I'm willing to try so I can eliminate VMware.
