The following packages have been updated in the Cygwin distribution:

*** xorg-server-*1.17.4-1

These packages contain XWin and the other X.Org X11 servers.

There are no cygwin-specific changes in addition to the upstream fixes 
[1][2] since 1.17.2-4.

Of particular note is an upstream fix for fd.o bug #31501 [3], present 
in all X server releases since 1.9, which may cause the X server to 
crash when using an xfs fontpath.

NOTEWORTHY CHANGES IN 1.17
==========================

The creation of indirect GLX contexts is now prohibited by default.  The 
+iglx option is required to allow them.  See [4] for more information on 
possible OpenGL configurations.

'-nolisten tcp' is now the default, so the server only accepts local 
connections on a unix domain socket.  A '-listen' option has been added 
which can be used to restore the previous behaviour.
