Greetings, Corinna Vinschen! > Now that you mention it... yes, a service dependency might be helpful. > Unfortunately it's tricky to automate this. Is it possible to add > service deps after having installed a service? Yes, it is possible. I do it all the time. Actually, it's as simple as adding REG_MILTI_SZ value to a service key. The question is, how manageable is this process from cygwin side. I know we can obtain a list of current Cygwin services. (Those installed through cygrunsrv.) Does it make sense to automate addition/removal of cygserver dependency, if one is [being] installed? -- WBR, Andrey Repin (anrdaemon AT yandex DOT ru) 29.10.2014, <2:38> Sorry for my terrible english... -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
