New versions 3.6.1-1 of

    octave,
    octave-devel,
    octave-doc

are available in the Cygwin distribution:

CHANGES
This is mainstream main release, first of 3.6.x series
deployed

A lot of functionalities have been improved and extended
including additional compatibilities with Matlab and
a better fltk interface in alternative to the default
gnuplot one.

DESCRIPTION
The GNU Octave language for numerical computations is a (mostly Matlab (R)
compatible) high-level language, primarily intended for numerical
computations.  It provides a convenient command-line interface for solving
