Hi,

I just tried to install subversion 1.7 on a fresh and clean install of Cygwin. The problem is that it depends on dbus, another daemon named gamin, gsettings-desktop-schemas, half a dozen X11 libraries and whatnot. It is a 100% command-line application, so this makes no sense at all, there's no way I'll install daemons and GNOME and X11 libs for this.
