This is the > preferred method anyway. Well, OUR windres is a cygwin tool. You can, of course, use the mingw.org or mingw64.sf version of windres. They each have their own list(s) of dependencies, but cygwin1.dll is not one of them. They don't grok cygwin's unix paths, tho.
