The serf packages have been updated to the new upstream release
0.7.0. See

   http://code.google.com/p/serf/source/browse/tags/0.7.0/CHANGES

for more details about the changes in this release.

More information about serf can be found at
http://code.google.com/p/serf/.

CYGWIN NOTES:
=============
This release increases the version of the libserf0 library from 0 to
1, so libserf0_0 and libserf0_1 may be installed in parallel. This
is necessary because applications linked against serf-0.3.1-1 will
not run with serf-0.7.0-1 and vice versa. Note that upstream did not
increase the library version.

Please note that 0.7.0 is not API-compatible with
0.3.1. Applications compiled against 0.3.1 may require changes to
compile against 0.7.0.

DESCRIPTION:
============
The serf library is a C-based HTTP client library built upon the
Apache Portable Runtime (APR) library. It multiplexes connections,
running the read/write communication asynchronously. Memory copies
and transformations are kept to a minimum to provide high
performance operation.
