While trying the latest snapshot for the nonblocking serial port issue,
I noticed that dlopen() is again not searching PATH for DLLs when a full
path is not specified.  Last time we discussed this[1], we agreed that
it should, so hopefully this is a bug and not a deliberate change in
behaviour.
