I tried re-sending my questions in a number of different ways; different su=
bject, reduced amount of example error messages and so forth.   What finall=
y worked is that I re-sent the entire thing and did *not* attach the cygche=
ck.out file.   Not sure why the spam filters didn't like it.   I'm also not=
 sure how to send my cygcheck.out file as directed in the page on reporting=
 problems.

Although the link is fairly useful information, I really think the "Be prep=
ared to be mocked, if any of the above needs to be repeated to you, however=
." is a bit extreme.
