There is absolutely no reason to suggest that someone should "ask on the
Apps list" about this.  You gave a incorrect suggestion and I was
clarifying it.  If you don't understand what belongs in what mailing
list then you shouldn't be offering suggestions regardless of your use
of auxilliary verbs.
