Would it be possible to replace the setfacl in cygwin with the one
available in linux -- it's alot more powerful:
NAME
setfacl - set file access control lists
SYNOPSIS
setfacl [-bkndRLPvh] [{-m|-x} acl_spec] [{-M|-X} acl_file] file ...
setfacl --restore=file
---
Notably it has "-R" for recursive
(full manpage avail on http://linux.die.net/man/1/setfacl)
----
Of course the 'chacl' command would be nice or better,
too. It's a bit more user friendly, IMO...:-).
-d/D for directory ACLS,
-r/R for only file acls
-b/B to change both file&dir ACLs
-l for list
-r for recursive
(only 1 command needed -- just use "list"; after all, with a
"get" operator, what do you "do" with the acl after you "get"
it"...not very intuitive if you ask me; sounds like it
was written to mimic a system call -- not designed for humans)
