Hmm.  Not much help.  From looking at the code it looks like a corrupted
stack except the stack obviously isn't corrupted.

Is there any chance that you could send me the contents of the two
directories that you're diffing?  I understand if this is proprietary
stuff but I don't think I'm going to get much from a stackdump or
strace.
