Ranesh,
as Larry suggested, it is better that you really start=20

mtd is present both in the=20
cygwin-1.5 and in the cygwin-1.7 (currently beta)

and it seems to work fine:

$ /usr/sbin/mkfs.jffs2.exe -h
mkfs.jffs2: Usage: mkfs.jffs2 [OPTIONS]
Make a JFFS2 file system image from an existing directory tree
[cut]
