Linda (or anyone who has an answer):

Do you have any suggestions for commands that should be put in _vimrc
so using cygwin is transparent?  I am especially concerned with things
needed to execute commands (i.e., with "!").

Thanks for your advice.  I've wanted to ask that for a long time.
