Ah sorry for the confusion, I had modified my PS1 settings (which I could set after manually sourcing .bashrc) so I just put a % for my prompt in the email. If I start cygwin normally my prompt looks like this: d DOT tang AT imb09-02635 ~ $ Also d DOT tang AT imb09-02635 ~ $ echo $SHELL /bin/bash d DOT tang AT imb09-02635 ~ $ echo $0 -bash > > Thorsten > > > -- > Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html > FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ > Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html > Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple > -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/ -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
