Hi,

$ git clone git://git.gnome.org/glib
Initialized empty Git repository in /home/Vincent/glib/.git/
remote: Counting objects: 66572, done.
remote: Compressing objects: 100% (10319/10319), done.
fatal: read error on input: Bad address
fatal: index-pack failed

Exactly the same problem I had a few times ago and that was reported by
other users.
