You need a driver.  Windows doesn't grok ext2fs file systems without
third-party assistance.  Several exist.  You can look at

http://www.fs-driver.org/ (Freeware)

and

http://e2fsprogs.sourceforge.net/ext2.html (Open source)

for a start.
