You got it! I use the one from Cygwin menu and the -tn rxvt-cygwin is to be blamed. I changed it to rxvt only and it works perfectly. Before this brand new install, I used shortcuts that I wrote myself and there was possibly not this -tn thing. Can we correct the shortcut in the Start Menu/Cygwin so that nobody has the same problem in the future?
