I just copied my existing shortcuts -- which I created back in the dark ages when rxvt needed /usr/X11R6/bin to be in $PATH. It doesn't, anymore, so I removed the -p /usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/bin incantation from the shortcut. But I didn't realize that setting the PATH via -p was the ONLY reason run.exe was used, since -- as you say -- rxvt now hides its own console. I'll update that, too, with the next release. -- Chuck -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
