That should be fixed now.  The error message was generated because the
same server was asked for the user account of the current user as for
the user account which was about to be changed.  The latest change
removed any such check for the current user by just testing for admin
privileges in the user's token.

I'll upload a 1.7.0-45 today or tomorrow.  I'm just waiting for a
patch approval on the newlib list.
